This is a nice cozy little place, perfect for people watching on Pack Square.  I like it best in the warmer months when you can sit outside and people watch around Pack Square.  The brainchild of accomplished Chef Hector Diaz of Modesto Trattoria fame, Bomba has “Latin” roots. Don’t be fooled, the culinary selection goes well beyond a simple Huevos Rancheros.  They offer a killer gourmet breakfast and brunch menu which is served all day (until they close at 2:00 pm weekdays or 3:00 pm on weekends).  The Bomba Blu Crab Benedict is one of my favorites, but they have several interesting breakfast dishes like the Smoked Atlantic Salmon Tartine or the Breakfast Salmon Francese.   The Banana Foster French toast, Arepa Perico and Huevos Rancheros are very good as well.  For lunch they offer a nice selection of salads, sandwiches and a very hefty burger.
