Owned by Katie Button of Curate fame, La Bodega is an authentic Spanish bodega/tapas bar restaurant.  The lower level is a food and wine market including a very good bakery.  I fully recommend the baguettes and croissants.  The food is very good at La Bodega but the menu is a bit limited.  The house salad is wonderful and goes well with the papatas fritas as a side dish (fried potato wedges which require 3 full days to prepare).  The charcuterie and cheese boards offer a wide variety and pair well with the many wines choices, mostly Spanish. The lunch menu primarily consists of bocadillos built on house-made baguettes, a very popular burger made with local beef and Ibérico pork, seasonal salads and a daily soup special. Go on Thursday to take advantage of the ½ price wine by the bottle.  The croissant bread pudding is a nice finishing touch.  This is a great place to sip wine and order small plates to pick at while swapping lies with friends or strangers for that matter.
